Get to know your curls

Who says that curly hair needs products.  You might have days where you want to run your fingers through your hair and feel the softness and curls.

When styling your hair there are so many products to chose from.  How do you know which one is the best one for you?  curly hair has its own temperament and uniqueness.  I’m sure you see other people and wonder what product they use because there hair looks amazing.  Just because one person uses a certain product doesn’t mean it will work for you.  Remember.. your curls are yours and unique in their own way.  In order to find out which products suits your hair, use nothing and monitor your hair.  See what your hair is doing and find out what you are trying to achieve.  Critique your hair.  At that point you can decide which product to use. Start with one product and see how your hair reacts.  If that product doesn’t work, try another.  It’s a process but once you find your product, you and your curls will be happy.

Accepting your natural waves or curls is the best way to keep harmony between you and your hair.  Wavy is wavy and curly is curly.  You can’t achieve one if you have the other without hard work.  No one said that curly hair was easy, however, if you have the right cut and the right product you will enjoy the results. Winter time is a little easier with less humidity.  Also, blow drying your curly hair in the winter gives it a softer look.  For better results don’t use gel just leave in conditioner.
